The Hollywood Reporter announced as title media partner
Access Canada is delighted to announce the Access Canada Summit – a new conference aimed at sparking meaningful connections among all levels of the media and entertainment industry, providing important market access opportunities, and a platform to celebrate Canadian storytelling.
From the former producers of Content Canada and the team behind The Hollywood Reporter Women in Entertainment Canada, Access Canada Summit will take place from September 8 to 10, 2025 during Toronto’s festival season, at The Omni King Edward Hotel in Toronto. Premier media and entertainment publication The Hollywood Reporter is title media partner of the event.
“Canadian content is making a tremendous impact globally, creating the opportunity to grow the influence of our industry both at home and abroad,” said Ferne Cohen President, Access Canada. “Access Canada Summit will create a platform for this opportunity to blossom, building on our many years of experience producing impactful Canadian industry events. We will connect creators to decision makers, unlock learnings from influential industry leaders, and strategically amplify Canadian stories through our exciting partnership with The Hollywood Reporter. We look forward to welcoming delegates to Toronto this Fall!”
“We’re so thrilled to partner with Access Canada during, fittingly, the Toronto International Film Festival to bring fresh ideas and thought leadership among the industry insiders who create, distribute, stream, release and invest in content that drives culture and the conversation in Canada, one of the most thriving entertainment markets in the world”, said The Hollywood Reporter Co-Editors-in-Chief, Shirley Halperin and Maer Roshan.
Access Canada Summit will spotlight Canada’s vibrant content industry on a global stage, fostering dialogue, discovery, and deal-making between the industry’s top creative and business minds. This multi-day event will serve as a premier platform for creative and business leaders to connect, collaborate, and elevate the future of content creation in Canada and beyond.
Programming for the transformative three-day Summit, including keynote speakers, panels and workshops, curated meetings and networking opportunities, to be announced in the coming weeks.
